I showed the  students a video of Martin Luther King Jr., a famous Nobel Peace Prize  winner for his work during the Civil Rights movement in the 1960s in the  US. Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous \u201cI Have A Dream\u201d speech in  front of the Washington Monument.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"\" data-thumbnail-src=\"https:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi\/vP4iY1TtS3s\/0.jpg\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"266\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vP4iY1TtS3s?feature=player_embedded\" width=\"320\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;After the students watched the video  of this famous speech, the students were given an opportunity to write  their own \u201cI Have a Dream\u201d speech about their own dreams for the world  and the future. I loved all of the responses!
