ENGLISH EXTENSION BAKING CONTEST (A post by Angelo Moraschi).

ENGLISH EXTENSION BAKING CONTEST (A post by Angelo Moraschi).

Who would’ve thought that our English extension subject would’ve become a baking contest? Well, not our English teacher at least.

English extension students from 2º Bachillerato A and B came up with a wonderful idea at the beginning of the year that shocked our English teacher, Lourdes: a baking contest that would’ve been followed by a cooking contest. After a brief bloodshed to decide the day of the competition, it was time to bake.

Finally, the day arrived, everyone brought their pieces of art. Some judges went missing, or they fled, it seems like only Avi was brave enough to embark on this journey. Thankfully, Rosario was also there to save the day.

While the judges judged and ate the food, the contestants waited patiently, crying silently, it was really hard for them to see their creations being undone in front of their eyes without even tasting them beforehand.

The results were finally in, each piece of art had been rated according to their flavor and presentation.

But we all knew that everything was very tasty and very good. We even had reusable plates, spoons and knives, supplied by our teacher. Here are some images from kind people that remembered to share with me their photos:
